Position Title: Air Compressor Service Technician
Type: Direct Hire
Location: Maine or New Hampshire
Pay: $27.00 – $32.00/hour
Schedule: Day shift with occasional nights, weekends, and overnight travel Overview:
The Air Compressor Service Technician serves as a company ambassador, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of compressed air systems including compressors, dryers, tanks, filters, and related equipment. Services are performed on-site and on-demand to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: - Install, service, and repair air compressors, dryers, filters, tanks, and related compressed air equipment.
- Diagnose/troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues using schematics/diagrams.
- Perform start-ups and technical service calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Complete detailed service reports, evaluations, and recommendations.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to the growth of the service and sales.
- Properly care for and maintain the company vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Competencies: - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and compressed air systems.
- Microsoft Office Suite and service-related software.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Occasional evenings, weekends
Occasional overnights
Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in a service-based role, preferably with compressed air equipment.
Field experience with air compressors and related systems is highly preferred.
Licensing & Certifications:
Valid, unexpired driver’s license.
Clean driving record.
