Legal Operations Project Manager to works closely with the COO and serve as part of the firm’s Operations leadership team. We’re seeking an experienced project management professional with a strong track record of leading diverse internal operational initiatives within a law firm environment. Key Responsibilities - Lead firmwide and practice-related projects from planning through completion, including setting objectives, budgets, timelines, and progress tracking.
- Evaluate and streamline existing operational workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Partner with technology leaders to identify, assess, and implement legal tech solutions, such as AI tools and firmwide dashboards.
- Coordinate with attorneys, staff, and external vendors to define requirements, drive progress, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Analyze data and reporting capabilities across systems to support strategic planning and recommend improvements.
- Support the COO and Partnership by documenting and reporting on key projects and preparing monthly partner reports.
- Identify opportunities for financial, policy, or process enhancements.
- Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
- Must have law firm experience
- 5+ years managing complex projects in a law firm setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Experience with data visualization, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Highly organized multitasker with strong attention to detail
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
- Skilled in interpreting data, spotting trends, and producing reports
- Effective collaborator who can align and motivate cross-functional teams
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times
