Job Description

The HT Group is partnering with a well-known, reputable law firm in search of a highly organized and analytical  Legal Operations Project Manager to works closely with the COO and serve as part of the firm’s Operations leadership team. We’re seeking an experienced project management professional with a strong track record of leading diverse internal operational initiatives within a law firm environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead firmwide and practice-related projects from planning through completion, including setting objectives, budgets, timelines, and progress tracking.
  • Evaluate and streamline existing operational workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Partner with technology leaders to identify, assess, and implement legal tech solutions, such as AI tools and firmwide dashboards.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, staff, and external vendors to define requirements, drive progress, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Analyze data and reporting capabilities across systems to support strategic planning and recommend improvements.
  • Support the COO and Partnership by documenting and reporting on key projects and preparing monthly partner reports.
  • Identify opportunities for financial, policy, or process enhancements.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
  • Must have law firm experience 
  • 5+ years managing complex projects in a law firm setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Experience with data visualization, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
  • Highly organized multitasker with strong attention to detail
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
  • Skilled in interpreting data, spotting trends, and producing reports
  • Effective collaborator who can align and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times
