Job Description

Confidential acute-care hospital seeks a Patient Care Technician to support bedside care alongside the nursing team and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery
  

• Provide basic, non-medicated care (e.g., dressing changes, skin protection, supportive devices) per competency and policy
  

• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked patient areas and common spaces; support infection-control practices
  

• Manage supplies/equipment checks and environmental logs to keep the team ready
  

• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team; escalate safety/quality concerns promptly
  

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or urgent care setting preferred (PCT/CNA/MA background a plus)
  

• Mediclear certification (or equivalent) required 
  

• Strong customer service skills, reliability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  

• EMR familiarity and attention to detail for accurate documentation
