Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales/Solutions Engineer based in Jersey City, NJ, with some work from home flexibility. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for discussing vibration challenges with clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored CALMFLOOR solutions. Day-to-day tasks include conducting product demonstrations, collaborating with the sales team to drive business growth, responding to technical inquiries, and developing customised vibration control strategies and client proposals . The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to achieving the company’s sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Master the technical application of AMD technology for new-build, retrofit, and conversion projects.
  • Conduct compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Engage key decision-makers (architects, engineers, developers) and translate their vibration challenges into CALMFLOOR solutions.
  • Capture critical project data and collaborate with our technical team to design optimal solutions.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from discovery to closing landmark deals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical), Physics, or related technical field.
  • Expertise in Sales Engineering and Sales processes to effectively promote technical solutions.
  • 2-5+ years in a technical, client-facing role (e.g., construction engineering, project management).
  • Experience in the building or construction industry.
  • Proven success in relationship building, with excellent listening and communication skills for technical and commercial audiences.
  • A passion for applying innovative technology to solve real-world problems.
  • Ambition to build a territory and desire for performance-based compensation.
