Position: Tableau Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Developer to join our team at the Episcopal School of Baton Rouge. As a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support the school's data analytics needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and translate them into effective Tableau dashboards and reports
- Design and develop data models and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
- Create and maintain data connections and data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues with Tableau dashboards and reports
- Train and support end-users on how to use Tableau and interpret data
- Stay up-to-date with Tableau best practices and new features to continuously improve the school's data analytics capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Tableau development and administration
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and manipulation
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Prior experience in the education sector is a plus
