Job Description

Overview:

Do you see stories through a lens before anyone else does? Are you the kind of creator who gets as much energy from setting up the perfect shot as you do from shaping a powerful story?
NFI is looking for a Video Production Specialist who lives and breathes video. From behind the camera to the editing bay, you know how to transform complex ideas into compelling stories. This is a new role on NFI’s growing Marketing team and an opportunity to shape the future of how we bring our brand to life through authentic, high-impact video content.

You’ll be the hands-on expert driving video production and post-production for a wide range of marketing initiatives. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, customers, and creative partners, you’ll create videos that inform, inspire, and engage.

If you’re eager to tell the stories that move supply chains and the world, we’d love to see your portfolio.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead filming and production of NFI’s video content, operating cameras and associated equipment to capture high-quality footage.
  • Own the editing process from start to finish, including sound mixing, light motion graphics, and color correction to deliver polished, on-brand videos.
  • Adapt content for multiple platforms, including social channels like LinkedIn, Reels, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring each piece feels native to its platform.
  • Balance planned productions with fast-turn content, capturing timely moments and creatively repurposing footage to extend reach.
  • Contribute to pre-production activities such as brainstorming, storyboarding, or interview prep alongside other team members.
  • Contribute to planning and coordinating projects, helping schedule shoots, organize assets, and collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain and organize the video archive, ensuring assets are easy to find and reuse.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, and customers to align video content with business goals.
  • Support performance measurement efforts by staying connected to content metrics and using insights to refine storytelling approaches.
  • Explore emerging creative technologies, including AI tools, to find new ways to enhance production workflows and content impact.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Digital Media, or a related field; or equivalent years of professional experience plus,
  • 5+ years of experience in video production, filming, and editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and project management tools.
  • Excellent interviewing and people skills.
  • Strong collaborative energy, with the ability to work across teams from operators to executives.
  • A portfolio link showcasing your ability to produce polished, story-driven video content across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Quality(s) that would set you apart

  • A storytelling mindset and the ability to distill complex subjects into clear, engaging narratives, especially through interviews and dynamic editing.
  • Creative direction instincts, including comfort guiding non-marketers on camera and bringing ideas to life visually.
  • Experience working in, or with clients in, the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Projects that showcase technical, complex, or B2B-focused content.

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $ 78,000. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 5%. NFI considers applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.

Employees are also eligible for a robust benefit program, which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage, 401k Plan, Wellness Program, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Paid Parental Leave, among other benefit plan options.
