Job Description

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

The warehouse manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse

Ensuring efficient storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and distribution of goods.

This role ensures that warehouse activities run safely, clean and smoothly, and cost-

Effectively while meeting company standards and customer requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and supervise all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, machine operations, packing and shipping goods.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Supervise, train, schedule and evaluate warehouse staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations.
  • Knowledge of insurances and workers comp management.
  • Coordinate with logistics and sales team to support business operations.
  • Prepare operational reports.
  • Handle damaged or obsolete inventory according to company policies and instructions.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or military background. (Preferred)
  • Proven minimum 5 year experience as warehouse manager or in similar supervisory role.
